Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon



Dr. Michel El-Hakim is devoted to providing his patients with the most beautiful smile together with his dedicated team.

Dr. El-Hakim received his dental and medical degrees from l’Université de Montréal. He completed a four-year residency training with a Master of Science in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at McGill University. He then did a fellowship in maxillofacial oncology and microvascular surgery at the University of Maryland, USA. Between 2008 and 2013, Dr. El-Hakim was the director of the division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at McGill University.

He is now the assistant professor. He is a fellow, an examiner and a member of the council of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. El-Hakim was the president of the Foundation for the Canadian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also serves as Vice-President on the board of the Quebec Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association.
