Dr. Nicholas Makhoul and his team are committed to providing all of their patients with beautiful smiles and exemplary oral health.

Dr. Nicholas Makhoul received his MSc with Honors from the University of Alberta in Biochemistry, his MD from McGill University and his MD from the University of Michigan. In addition, he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as a fellowship in maxillofacial oncology and microvascular surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr. Makhoul is Assistant Professor and Vice-Dean-Postdoctoral Dental Education at McGill University as well as Head of the Department of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the McGill University Health Center.

Dr. Makhoul is very involved in the academic development of future maxillofacial surgeons through his participation in the teaching of residents as well as his collaboration in several research projects in different areas of oral health. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and holds the title of Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has lectured internationally on topics ranging from antibiotics for use in dentistry to facial reconstruction.
